How quickly things can change.
Your OWGA Board continues to monitor the developments of the Covid-19 virus and after careful consideration and to ensure the safety of our membership, we have voted to cancel the following tournaments.
March 24, 2020 at Twin Rivers. (Cancelled)
March 31, 2020 at Kissimmee Bay. (Cancelled)
April 7, 2020 play date is a planned scheduled week off.
As for the Championship tournament, the OWGA Board will continue to respect CDC and NIH advise and follow the guidelines set out to minimize any health risk posed to our membership. The OWGA Board will reevaluate the Championship event as we draw closer to April 13, 2020. We pledge to continue to communicate with our members. Please continue to check the website.
We know there are lots of concerns about the current situation and the uncertainty that everyone is feeling at this time. Your patience and understanding are much appreciated. We are all in this together and by helping each other, looking out for each other, and adopting a spirit of co-operation, the OWGA Board believes we can successfully deal with the challenges that undoubtedly lie ahead.
