The Orlando Women’s Golf Association (OWGA) was founded in 1927 with a mission to connect low handicap amateur women golfers for friendly competition and fun at many of the premier golf courses located in Central Florida.

- Golf is played on 37 of the most distinctive private and public courses in the Greater Orlando area
- Courses played are within a 25 mile radius of Orlando city center
- Season play is weekly, typically on Tuesday, beginning early September and ending in May. Most weekly play is individual competition within flights
- Major Tournaments include – Handicap Tournament, Member-Member Match Play tournament and season ending OWGA Championship
- Annually awards are given for best season putting performance and most improved player and several others
Membership Requirements:

- Female amateur golfer with a GHIN or Golf Net attested handicap index of 18 or less
- Member of a golf club in one of the following counties – Orange, Seminole, Lake, Sumter, Marion, Osceola, Polk, Volusia or Brevard
- Sponsorship by one OWGA member in good standing
- Annual Membership Dues of $110 for those coming from OWGA Member Clubs, otherwise annual dues are $160. Dues may be prorated for those joining after the start of the season.
- Must attend 2 of the 4 business meetings in order to receive the year end participation credits. Note: business meetings follow specific events.
- Must play in 7 play days in order to be eligible to compete in our season ending championship
