Another great day of golf! While a few scores broke through, the craziness was in putts and skins!
Sherry Brown had just 25 putts!!! Wow! I was stunned, until I saw Kay Landry posted 26 putts!! Pretty amazing display.
The Skins were also pretty amazing. There were actually 2 holes (11 and 18) that were won by pars! And out of 8 skins 3 players won 2 each (Linda Dillon, Yvonne Sandoval (welcome back), and Lisa Robinson). Mary Mahoney won hole 18 with a par and Jenna Butler birdied number 4.
The full results are on the website. Login to the owga website (dont forget, your password for the site is your zip code!) . Click on Schedule, Calendar of Events. Under the picture of the Crooked Cat, in black lettering is “Click Here for Results”. When you click it, you will see a screen that has blue boxes at the top listing Leaderboard, Pairings, Summary, etc.
To view everything at once, click on Summary. That will list Gross and Net scores by flight (the order of the players is based on gross results), Rewards, Skins, Putts….
To view each flights results, gross and net click Leaderboard. To get individual flight results, look at the two drop down categories above the names of the players. The drop down on the left lets you select each flight. The drop down on the right lets you select gross or net results. So to get the results, for example, for the 2nd flight, select “2nd flight” from the drop down menu on the left. The gross scores will be displayed for each player in the flight. To get the net scores for that same 2nd flight, click on the dropdown menu on the right and select “Individual Stroke Play Net”.
FYI, our rule for payouts is always 1.) Pay 1/3 of the flight, round up any fraction of 3. 2.) Payout Gross First. (So if there are 3 players to be paid, it will be First Gross, First Net, and Second Gross in that order. 3.)No one can win more than one place in an event. (In keeping with the example above, where 3 places are rewarded, if the same two people in one flight won 1 and 2 in both Gross and Net, 1st place Gross would be 1 and First Place Net is awarded to the 2nd Individual. Whoever is in 3rd Gross would win the remaining Place in that Flight.). Too much Info??
