Heathrow Country Club
The OWGA Championship Tournament is staged in the Spring of each year and is the premier event of our Association. We welcome all OWGA players and even if you are not playing, we encourage everyone to come out and watch the best of our Association compete for the Honor of OWGA Champion.
- Open to all current OWGA members who have at least 7 attendance credits prior to the start of the Championship.
- Players are flighted based on recent USGA Handicap Index
- A totally gross score event
- Play takes place over 3 distinct days at 3 distinct courses
- For 2026, play will be at Mission Inn El Campeon – April 6th, Heathrow – April 7th, and Orange Tree – April 14th.
- The Peggy Brass Trophy is awarded to the winner of the Championship and presented at the Closing Meeting in May
- Cash prizes are awarded to the 10 players with the lowest gross scores, the Medalist and the winners (approximately 30%) of each flight.
