CONGRATULATIONS, MEG GIUSTI, OUR 2018 CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER!

 This year’s Championship was presented with challenges from the courses we played as well as Mother Nature.  Our final three-day event of the season was plagued by rain on Day 2, extending the tournament by an extra week.  But over the span of these three rounds, Meg GIUSTI either tied or held the lead.  At the end of Round 1, Meg shared the lead with her co-medalist, Sharon Baerenklau.  In Round 2, she extended her lead to 5 over the field and ultimately won by 7 strokes. Three days of consistently excellent golf is one thing, but Meg has won this event now five years in a row…..fifteen rounds of excellence.  WOW! 

Rounding out our top 10 finalists are Sharon Baerenklau, Teri DeLuis, Glenda Todd, Janet Van Slyke, Gail Weston, Jenna Butler, Cheryl Young, Tracey Keith and Paulette Driscoll; all from our first and second flights.  

Flight 3 was won by Sue Park.  Carol Musselwhite, Marci Likens, Kay Landry and Yvonne Sandoval also placed. 

Flight 4 was won by Lory Cassens with Jan Cochran, Lesley Lincoln and Karen Kaleita placing.
