Bay Hill rolled out the red carpet for OWGA this week. The food and beverage tent was a wonderful treat for some quick energy and conversation. The gift bags were a terrific way to make us ladies feel extra special. Thank you Bay Hill. Your staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
The Bay Hill Golf Course is always in such wonderful condition. Despite some heavy rain, the course played beautifully and tough, but the greens were sublime. Golf wise, our fearless OWGA president Susie Keane won division one with a 3 over par score of 75. Linda Chen in Division two shot the same low score of 75. Sue Park and Cindy Kinjo-Hardart both won their divisions in tough conditions.
Best shot of the day: Linda Dillon on the par 3 17th. Her ball was half submerged in the water just short of the sand trap. She blasts it out and land it 2 inches from the cup. Wow.
